Peace Culture Campaign
Our peace culture campaign train headed to Jimeta-Yola, Adamawa state, again. This time, it stopped at Government Day Junior Secondary School (GDJSS), Gwadabawa, where our representative, Amb. Pascalis Nepo, engage students.
We believe everyone, old or young, should be involved in peacebuilding, and it starts with awareness.
None of school age is certainly too young to contribute to peace.
Whether by actively engaging the young ones in an air-conditioned classroom or simply, yet powerfully, interacting with them under the tree in an open field, they need to be enlightened about their civic responsibilities.
They need to be aware of their agency, power, and responsibility to contribute to peace in their community.
They need to be provided with a safe space to thrive.
We appreciate the management and staff of GDJSS, Gwadabawa, Jimeta-Yola, for allowing us to fellowship with their students.
The train continues to sojourn.
