A while ago, Peacepace organized a 2019 YALIServe event in Jimeta – Yola in honour of Nelson Mandela, an erstwhile President of South Africa, in conjunction under the aegis of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Adamawa State. The events which took place in two schools – Yelwa Primary and Secondary Schools – were aimed to give the students proper orientation on “Peace Culture”;: letting them know there is a reason they act the way they act and there is a reason other people, including their colleagues, behave the way they do. We taught them about tolerance, understanding, and love. Pictures from the Primary school session were uploaded earlier on this platform. Hausa and English languages were the adopted means of communication at the events. We had over 800 secondary school students at the event which took place at the school assembly.Below are some pictures from the secondary school session, see our facebook page (Peacepace Initiative). We appreciate all our Ambassadors and volunteers.
